Effective date: April 23, 2026 · Last updated: April 23, 2026
This policy covers signalhouseventures.com (marketing + checkout) and signalhouseventures.cloud (customer portal). Signal House Ventures, LLC ("SHV", "we", "us") is the controller of the personal data described below.
1. Short version
- We collect the minimum data we need to deliver the services you asked for.
- We do not sell your personal data. Ever.
- Payments go through Stripe. We don't store card numbers.
- You can contact us to access, correct, or delete your data.
The rest of this policy fills in the details.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you give us directly
- Contact form submissions — name, email, phone, company, your question or project details.
- Checkout information — your email, name, billing address, and payment method data you enter on a Stripe-hosted checkout page. Stripe, not SHV, receives and stores the full card number. SHV receives a Stripe customer ID, the last four digits, and similar non-sensitive metadata.
- Onboarding intake — details you provide after purchase to help us deliver the work (for example, business name, pages you want, brand colors, domain preferences, access grants for marketing platforms, redirect domains for QR campaigns).
- Support and correspondence — emails, messages, and call notes you send us.
2.2 Information we collect automatically
- Usage and device data — IP address, browser, device type, referrer, pages visited. We use this for security, debugging, and product analytics.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see section 7 below. We use a small number of cookies: session cookies for signed-in customers on signalhouseventures.cloud (strictly necessary), and aggregate analytics cookies on signalhouseventures.com where applicable.
- Commerce events — when you click a pricing button, start checkout, or complete a purchase, we record those events for conversion measurement. These are tied to a Stripe session ID, not to your plaintext card number.
2.3 Information we receive from third parties
- Stripe sends us webhook events about your payments and subscriptions so we can provision your account, deliver your purchase, and keep your billing status current.
- Marketing platform connections you explicitly grant (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta, CRM tools) share performance data for the engagements we run.
3. How we use your information
- Deliver the services you purchased — provision your signalhouseventures.cloud account, run the audits/builds/campaigns we were hired to run, send onboarding and status emails.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions — via Stripe, including free-trial tracking, renewals, refunds, and dunning.
- Support — respond to your questions, debug issues you report.
- Security — detect abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access; enforce our Terms of Service.
- Improve our services — aggregate analytics on which pages convert, which offers attract which audiences, what breaks in our product.
- Legal and compliance — meet our obligations under applicable law (for example, tax records, responding to lawful requests from authorities).
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not sell your personal data.
4. Who we share your information with
We share personal data only with the processors we need to run the business. The table below lists the current set for Phase 1 commerce; we may add or change providers and will update this page when we do.
| Processor | What they receive | Why |
| Stripe, Inc. | Payment method data, name, email, billing address | Process payments, run subscriptions, issue refunds |
| Railway | All data stored by signalhouseventures.cloud (infrastructure) | Hosting for the customer portal and webhook handler |
| Hostinger | Static page requests on signalhouseventures.com | Hosting for the marketing and checkout surfaces |
| Transactional email provider | Email address, email body (magic links, order confirmations) | Send sign-in and order emails. Provider may change; we'll update here. |
| Google Analytics (when enabled) | Pseudonymous usage data | Measure which pages convert |
| Google Ads (where the engagement includes paid search) | Conversion events for campaigns we run on your behalf | Report and optimize paid-search performance |
We may also share your information when legally required (for example, valid subpoena), to protect our rights and safety or those of others, or in connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, asset sale) — in which case the acquirer will be bound by commitments at least as protective as those in this policy.
5. How long we keep information
- Account and order records — for the duration of your relationship with us plus a reasonable window after (typically up to 7 years) to meet tax, accounting, and legal retention requirements.
- Contact form submissions — up to 3 years for follow-up and audit, then deleted or anonymized unless you become a customer.
- Analytics data — governed by the provider's retention settings. For Google Analytics, we configure the shortest reasonable retention.
- Customer-provided content (logos, copy, assets) — until you ask us to delete it, or for a reasonable period after the engagement ends.
6. Your rights and choices
Regardless of where you live, you can contact us to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate data;
- Delete your data (subject to legal retention we're required to keep);
- Export your data in a common format;
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Withdraw consent where we rely on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@signalhouseventures.com from the email address associated with your account. We'll respond within 30 days.
California residents have specific rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Residents of the European Economic Area and the UK have GDPR/UK-GDPR rights, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. If we rely on legitimate interests for any processing, you have a right to object; contact us and we'll review.
7. Cookies and tracking
We use the smallest set of cookies that still lets the site work.
- Strictly necessary — sign-in session cookies on signalhouseventures.cloud (for example,
wse_session). Without these, the customer portal cannot function.
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4 cookies on signalhouseventures.com when enabled, for aggregate pageview and conversion measurement. These can be disabled by your browser's cookie settings or a consent banner where applicable.
We do not use advertising-tracking pixels from third parties (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) in Phase 1. If we add any, this policy will be updated and, where required, a consent notice will appear.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the personal data we hold — including encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, short-lived magic-link tokens for sign-in, and processor contracts that bind our vendors to appropriate standards. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a material breach of your personal data, we'll notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
9. International transfers
SHV is based in the United States. If you access our services from outside the U.S., your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our processors operate. Where cross-border transfer protections are legally required, we rely on appropriate mechanisms such as standard contractual clauses.
10. Children
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires). If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Links to other sites
Our pages link to third-party sites (Stripe checkout, Google Business, Canva, vendor documentation, etc.). This policy does not apply to those sites. Review their privacy policies separately.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page and, for active customers, communicated via email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
